Opportunity

I was offered an opportunity last night, one that I may just end up taking.

The offer is simple, move to Atlanta to live with a few friends, get a job to pay the rent, and go to Georgia State. I really want to do this, it lets me get out of Greenwood and into an atmosphere where I feel I can fully recognize my potential. Plus, I’ve been meaning to get back in school.

Selective Illiteracy - Selective illiteracy is a way of describing the tendency of some people to ignore things that they don’t want to read.

Case in point: See an advert reading “Buy One Get One Free!” and the mind only receives and understands the word FREE.
